vac leak is most likely.
did it happen suddenly?
what is idle speed?
check hoses at the base of the carb. check carb base gaskets
you can see if you have a leak by running the engine and spraying small  
amounts of water at the suspected areas , or put a piece of vac hose to your ear  
and run the end around looking for a loud hiss. start at bases of carbs , and  
work to the pcv valve area.
also try plugging off the pcv valve to see if that fixes it.  valve  may be 
sticky.
another area to keep track of is point gap (dwell) the rubbing block wears  
and causes such issues. you can readjust to fix that.
