[FC] oil leak

if the leak is in this area i would want to see if the bellhousing is loose  
on the block also.  look for signs of movement in the dirt / grease around  
where it meets the block.  also i run a razor blade over the bell gasket  where 
it is bridged by the oil pan to smooth it out. you should be able to seal  it 
ok.
i usually clean leak areas well with degreaser and  a pressure washer  (or 
car wash?) and  then drive it a short distance . if its a toughie i use  dye and 
a black light.  you can buy the dye at napa. my black light is a  dollar 
store flourescent with a replacement black tube in it.
