If anyone is planning to attend the auction in Newark, De for the 1961 Rampside, be advised it is no more than a parts truck. I have just returned from looking it over and found a lot of problems. The deal breaker (to me) is both frame horns over the rear axles are rusted through and repaired with aluminum flashing and undercoating. It has a 95 hp car engine that runs good, a 4spd trans, a nice interior, not stock including carpet, the ramp doesn't latch correctly, the heavy steel piece the ramp hinge attaches to is rusted through, the bed has a lot of rust holes in it but have been repaired by covering the bed with 1/2" thick rubber sheets(GGGGG), there are no perimeter seals on the engine and a lot of other little problems. I guess I'll have to finish the Rampside I already have, I passed on this one. It's all yours , Ben.
