[FC] FC clutch

??? This is a note to all who read this, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER grease the pilot bushing. It should have oil pressured through it before installation and then stored in a small zip lock with a tad of oil with it until use.?

?? The grease is mostly wax and the oil in the grease will go away and you know what a wax candle is and how hard that is. When that happens, you plug the pores of the pilot bushing effectively removing any further lubrication possibilities and then you get the squeal just as you start to let the clutch out.

?? As far as what is happening to your clutch release,?it is still adjustment. Check the clamp in the front to make sure that it has not slipped and then go to the back and adjust tighter than you think it should be, then see what happens. If you know for sure that the clutch has pulled far enouhg, I think 3/4" at the rear, and you still have the engagement problem then you just might think about having the clutch disc in backwards.

Guys
I am still diagnosing my clutch - release issue. I notice an intermittent
squealing from somewhere in the drivetrain, and the idle is still too fast;-
gotta get that down, but is it possible I did not lube the end of the input
shaft, and it is keeping the tranny spinning even with the clutch in?
