If the stock spare tire is in the stock location, don't plan on the 
lid opening on a forward-mounted hinge.  The lid will hit the 
tire.  Either place the hinge on the tire side, use a skinny 
space-saver tire, or plan on taking the tire out every time you want 
to open the lid.
