in a van or any powerglide , i would go with 110 or 95 heads converted to 4  
carbs . makes much more low end torque. talk with someone at a GOOD machine 
shop  before going too far.   unless you are looking for top end you cant  use 
instead of lower rpm pull you need in a van , i would forgo the 140 issues  
entirely.
 good working air cleaner plans are in the tech guide , and have been  
published several times.
horsepower and torque curves are a study a lot of people overlook , causing  
lots of sadness.
spend some money on correct head work and the cam and get what you  really 
need.
i found this out years ago in 327 motors on the 62 vettes i had. it works  
even better in corvairs.  study it !
