[FC] Need help with the MuseumBrier

As far as the alternator goes - you likely have an internally regulated (often mistakenly called 1-wire) that needs needs a voltage sensing wire (the little plastic plug that snaps in).

 

This can be run right to the charging post (the big lug on alt), to the battery, or ideally far away from the battery to sense what the actual voltage is after voltage drops so the alt. can compensate.
