later carbs work well on 145 motors with added dual exhaust and maybe a  
slight tweak of the distributor...start by removing one of the 2 springs from  
the mechanical advance and setting timing so NO ping or detonation with 
whatever  fuel you usually use , and with the motor warmed up. make sure it is 
not too far  advanced (such as licking back when cranking hot) and it will 
be a good runner. 
JUST MAKE SURE NO PINGING!.
