Each gallon of gasoline oxidized (burnt) creates one gallon of water. You must get the engine and exhaust system really warmed up to dissipate the water formed. I believe ethanol has more Carbon and less Hydrogen than gasoline so it would give off more CO2 and less H2O than gasoline. Dennis
