Also,I am a happy owner of a 1965 Deluxe Greenbrier that is a little more  
rare than I thought.  :-)

Not at all true.  "Standard" (non-deluxe) Greenbriers were  built for 
the 1965 model year.

The rest of what Doc said, about  alternators etc, is correct.
