[FC] Right rear turn signal/brake light problem 61 rampy

I used to drill a small hole thru the joint between the socket and the
housing and run a stainless sheet metal screw thru both pieces. Then run a
ground wire from the housing to the body. Don't use aluminum pop rivets as
they corrode quickly and you are back to the same problem again.

You need to ground not just the aluminum housing but the socket that the
bulb goes into. Corrosion builds up between the steel and aluminum and does
not pass electrons very well. So ground the socket and see what happens. You
can even do that temporarily with a srew driver placed next to the socket
and on the housing and twist just a little bit.

With the bulb working the way you mentioned it is a ground problem. The
parking lights are grounding through the brake system until you put the
brakes on or turn that signal on.

With running lights on it is brighter that the left side indicating it
ight be grounding out somewhere back through the harness?. Is there a
