[FC] Headlight brightness?

start by removing the bezel and checking the terminal that is riveted top  
center with 2 wires on it.
they corrode over the years forming a high resistance joint.  most  times 
you can just remove that screw and put it back in and it fixes it. i  usully 
remove that brass grommet and clean the surface and a dap of noox or just  
any grease then put it back together. if that is the real trouble ,  you can 
see the test light dimly light up  if you touch a good  ground and that 
terminal where the wires are crimped .other things to check are  the plugs on 
the bulbs get dirty. Other thing to check is the plug on the cowl  from each 
bucket , unplug them and clean what  you can see , but just  unplugging and 
plugging will probably do it.
also , while you are at it , unplug the dimmer switch and check / clean  it.
