[FC] Tire question

Suppose your mechanic replaced your FC's rear suspension before you left 
for Iowa this Summer but did not have the van realigned to proper specs 
as part of the procedure.

Then suppose you drove over 2000 miles with your FC "dogging" down the 
road on a diagonal course because of misalignment and your rear tires 
wore out. Badly. You were unaware of the lack of proper alignment as you 
thought your mechanic knew better and would take care of your vehicle.

Further suppose your mechanic, upon your complaint, had the van aligned 
at your cost and then merely rotated the worn tires to the front of the van.

Would you call this irresponsible behavior on the part of your mechanic? 
Would you ask for replacement of both worn out tires? Would you be upset 
if your mechanic ignored several such requests?

Just wondering...
