Lots of folks like the 110 in an FC, and, if you wanted to trade that 66
transaxle for an early unit, you should find lots of takers. It can be
made to work, except for the speedo, but the correct unit is a lot easier.

Don't know what your engine mounting problems are, but the engines in
all Corvairs are a bit off center as that is how they were built, and
one does need the correct brackets and spacers both front and rear to
get it where it belongs.

Car motors do not have the special FC style oil fill tube / dipstick,
but that is not an insurmountable problem -- swap the sheet metal,
install the correct mounting brackets, and that's about it, especially
since you have an already complete truck to work with.

There has been a very recent thread on this list about most of this, so
if you missed it, check out the archives (website link at end of this
post). The 164 motor takes a less common rear engine mount bracket to
clear the harmonic balancer, and the 4-speed has a different front mount
than the 3-speed, and a car one won't work without modification (too short).

Godspeed!
