It might seem so in this day and age of iPods and radios with SDXC slots 
and Sirrus, but in the early sixties, push buttons were pretty 
new-fangled, and manual dial tuners were rather normal, if you had a 
local station you could tune into.

Radios in trucks was a bit of a luxury add-on.
