Tim,
Check out the wiring diagrams in the Shop Manual. The 1961 manual has
individual diagrams for each accessory.

They are archived online at the Corvanatics website:

Further down the page (about 2/3) there is an article on the wiper motor
including all details on testing it and diagrams of the components.
