[FC] Bad Igntion Switch?

I thought the headlights were neither fused nor switched or connected through the ignition switch. Your comments confirm that.  I know many people bypass the plastic connector at the rear firewall, although I haven't had  to do that on any of my other cars.  I'll start looking there tonight.
