[FC] Rampside Panel Replacement Question - Cross post with CorvairCenter

Hello,

I'm working to eradicate the rust in my '61 Rampside, and I have the full
replacement side panel from Clark's.  It is a full panel with flanges on
top and sides and is intended to replace the entire panel, but its not
clear to me how one would get access to the sides of the panel once it is
put in place to weld the sides.

Has anyone done this repair and able to shed some light on the topic?
