[FC] electrical gremlin

I am going to try to sort out an electrical gremlin on Rampy that just cropped up. When the turn signal is to my right the front and rear lights flash correctly;...all is well. When turning to the left, the initial signal is bright and then dims until the bulb's filament is only seen to be orange-yellow when the red lens is removed. I removed the rear lens and checked the ground by using copper wire on a known clean frame contact.Next I assume I should  look under the dash at that little switch box which is connected to the lever by a cable? right?Tim 61 Rampy 140 4 spd.
