Sliding the bushings toward the center of the bar, putting the bar into 
the clamps, and then slipping the bushings between clamp and bar is how

Actually, if it were rocket science you'd probably have an easier time 
these days finding an expert than 60's era mechanical fuel delivery :-)

Really a 140 isn't that hard - you don't need to sync all four.  
Disconnect the secondaries.  The primaries are done exactly as on a 
110.  Then, adjust the secondary linkage so they hit WOT at the same 
time as the primaries.  That's it.
