Regarding work on your 140, sorry but on Saturday I will be in Portland
for the CORSA convention.

On your stuck throttle, before you start pulling carbs why don't you
disconnect the linkage on the carbs from the crossover shaft (the long
rod that goes across the fan pulley.  If your idle speed is still high
then you know the problem is in one of the carbs.  Then place your palm
over the top of the carbs one at a time and see which one, hopefully not
more than one, causes the idle to drop.
