Bryan,

I can store the track in my garage. If Steve can hold on to it until the 18th, I'll pick it up after the meeting at Greg's. Let me know if this will work.

Subject: [NoVa-Corvairs] Sunday at Mt. Vernon

Hi folks,

I had a chance to call Mt. Vernon and check on a few details. One,
there really isn't a spot for us to do a group shot with any part of
the mansion in the background. They also don't really have any
facility for reserved group parking. On the plus side, we can just
show up and if there are 20 adults in the group they'll give us the
dollar discount (so $11 per person), no reservation needed. Also, the
new visitor center is open. Hours for Mt. Vernon are 9 to 4.

Forecast is for sunny and about 50 degrees. Bear in mind that this is
right on the river, so it's likely to be breezy as well.

Also, Wade sent me a note on the valve cover race track. They are
willing to bring it up here, but we need a place to store it. Size is
about 8 1/2 by 4 or so. I will check with Steve and see if it can be
at his house for a few days - we can move it somewhere else in Ellie's
truck, but we need to know where it's going. I'll point out that this
would save us a major amount of hassle for the Vair Fair, it would be
much easier if it were already here.
