The rational behind the "separation" thing is to alert members that they
have an option of buying this piece of equipment and doing it yourself
rather than having to find a machine shop to do it for you. The
presentation allows you to decide if the job is something that is
reliable and easy enough for you to do. Then you can decide if you want
to spend the money on the equipment or better yet to have the club buy it
and loan it to members.
