Members,

I count 32 pre-registrations for the meal to date (this includes Daniel).  
If we take ten more, then we will need 42.

I get the feeling that we could go up to 45 and still be OK as I have 
talked to a few people who are likely  to come and they say that their 
clubs will add several more...but those of you with more experience with 
these events should make the call.

Members,

1. Banquet: I would like to confirm the total numbers with the caterer 
this week.  From my notes we have 30 registrations for the banquet, 
therefore I would like to recommend we pay for 40 persons.  The total cost 
would be approx. $1288.00.  This will allow us to have at least 10 
additional tickets to sell or some extra food!

2. Friday night pizza party: I plan to buy enough pizza for 2 slices per 
person @ 40 persons 10-11 pizzas  Cost TBD.

--please give me feedback on the quantities and I will adjust accordingly. 


3. I will be purchasing sodas, water and ordering the cake early next 
week.

4. Beer: I will purchase a 1/4 keg of OD Lager or Sam Adams Lager on 
Friday morning, May 4th along with ice, tap and tub.

5. Goodie items for registrant bags: We struck oil at the Dollar Store 
Last Night. We now have enough wash mits, Armor All mini's and mini AC 
Delco flashlights for every bag.

One more thing - I would like to suggest we form a cell phone tree for all 
members that are participating in the event.  Mine is (703)309-0395.
