Yes.

Far as I know.

Yes.

Take a quick look in the carb section of the shop manual and you'll  
see the link from the carb shaft that drives the arm of the pump.   
It's quicker to show you than explain, I can do that at the next  
meeting.  Not really sure it's worth it, tho.
