[NoVa-Corvairs] Good Alignment Shop in DC area

Thanks gents....you are all quite right I should try to do this myself. I
have the booklet somewhere...will dig it out and see about tools. How I
missed this as an opportunity to acquire more tools is beyond me. Must
still be exhausted from my trip to fetch the new project. I have the
multicolored shell of a 65 glacier gray turbo coupe in my driveway. It
is covered to forestall neighborhood revolt and revulsion.

Richard, my place is on the way to Gettysburg for you...surely you want to
test those tools to make sure they are functioning properly before carting
them all the way back to Bolivia, no?

Maybe this will help a little. These are the instruction manuals for the
equipment I bought recently. Skip the calibration part, and you will get
to
the instructions, calculations and tables. I'm using this equipment for
commercial alignment in Tarija.
40 years ago I used a surveyor's level, mason's level, etc. since no
equipment was in Bolivia.

The way I've achieved a level surface is using floor tile and a water
level to make 4 level pads for the tires. I think Harbor Freight
even has turntables so you can set the castor.
