These are some suggestions I've collected. We've already acted on a
few, but I wanted to get the whole thing out in one chunk:

Handouts/Packets:

Put **everything** into the program book: maps and directions to off
site activities, churches, hospitals, etc.

Harry Jensen

Autocross lots:

Why don't you contact the local police/fire/sherriff departments and
see where they train to drive.  That is how we found the site in St.
Augustine.  Cost is $35 an hour or $400 a day.  can't beat it!!!

The name of our location is: First Coast Technical Institute.

Sarah Beltrami

Bryan: Contact truck/shipping places??

Apparel:

Some other things related to the youth movement that could be
applied.... apparel....seems we have had some nice additions to the
CORSA merchandise stable...however...just wonder if anyone has thought
about adding more t shirt/sweathsirt colors to the line up? Black, in
terms of jersey sales of professional sports teams, outsells all other
colors combined...perhaps the CORSA logo on black, gray or some other
colors may produce more sales thus sparking more interest. Apparel can
be a walking billboard 365 days a year...other items that could
compliment our current selection might be necessary as well...long
sleeved t's are perfect for fall and spring, hooded sweat
jackets...when have you not seen a 20 something not wearing one?

Jim Johnston

Show:

I'll offer one suggestion to organizers of the next convention: please
leave room on the Car Display windshield card for more information
about the vehicle. Not ALL of us instantly know everything there is to
know about every model of Corvair, and it would be nice to have room
for year, special features, etc.

Everyone who registered also registered the Nova(s) they were bringing.
There was a large lot at the hotel set aside exclusively for these
cars and everyone had a numbered space. The area was roped off and
supervised during the day and guarded at night. They grouped the cars
by generation, but didn't give you your assigned number until you
checked-in (didn't have extra spaces because of no-shows). The number
display method was simply duct tape on the asphalt.

Banquet:

The awards banquet was Saturday night with a children's pizza party (12
and under) running simultaneously).
