For the sway bars you can stack up 2x6's or cement blocks or pavers.  While I have used cement blocks many times I have heard some people say that they are not strong enough and could crumble.  That is why I mentioned paver stones which come in all sizes.  I don't think you need to get the van up very much, maybe 5".
Regarding exhaust packings I like the old asbestos ones as they are more compliant but no longer available.  If I had any I would not be giving them to someone else.
I think the sound deading project should be a priority.  If it is in the 90's you will need all the air you can get back there.  I was at a Group Corvair meeting last Sunday (upper 90's) and one of the members showed up late in his van.  He said that his oil pressure light had been coming off and on and he had been playing road side mechanic trying to find the cause but could not.  I believe it was high head temperature (same light).
