Fw: [NoVa-Corvairs] Needed: a 1965 140 carb cross shaft

Funny you should ask: I'm sitting here in my garage clothes, about to commence further attempts to get the Corvair back on the road.

The axle stuff was fairly easy to fix.  However, the accelerator portion is proving to be a nightmare.  When I hook up the rod that fits between the pivot and the crossover shaft (all three are replacement parts), the whole mechanism seems to bind up.  Maybe the rod that goes from the front of the car to the pivot got bent too. 

Anyway, that's what I'm off now to ascertain.
