Hi all,

We'll be on vacation through the 17th, so I'll miss the next
meeting. With all the parts in hand, I don't think it'll be too
tough to get AJ's car running. We got the '66 running last weekend,
but found the brakes, well, they don't (brake, that is), so I'll have
to take a look at those. A good opportunity to install the dual
master cylinder I have for it.

BTW, I'd like to drop a note to the other clubs about the Vair Fair,
I think the plan is the common club support idea. If you're likely
to go to the VF next spring, could you let me know? I'd like to be
able to give them some idea of what they could expect on site. Also,
is there an event in particular you'd like to work on? Nothing is
too firm yet, but I figure if someone really wants to do a particular
thing we might as well ask now.

Got this off VV, looks interesting:

Just received a Crutchfield Catalog today and they have a new product
that
may work great in our Corvairs. It is a modern radio with infinitely
adjustable
shafts and includes a USB port etc. The link for a nice demonstration
video is

Darrin, sometime I'd like to look at your Camaro and compare the
radio opening to a late. They have a faceplate kit for early Camaros
that might work on a late 'Vair. I'm told a radio in the '66 is high
on the to-do list.
