The Reverend was astute enough to figure it would take owning a Corvair to
get you back in church. They may not be "dedicated" Vair people, but they
sure are smart!
We miss you - have a great Christmas.

Darrin:
I would certainly like to have a Corvair group here locally but after
meeting those few people that have Corvairs, I would have to do all the
work. There are probably 5 Corvair owners in a sixty mile radius and all
but one that I have meet own Corvairs as an after thought, not because
they are focused on Corvairs.
Did I tell you guys how it was that I joined the church I'm in? No?
Well, I stopped at the church of my denomination and introduced myself to
the pastor. He was in a suit and a lapel pin on his suit caught my eye.
It was a CORSA pin. He has a '62 coupe that he and his son are
restoring. The engine is done but the body needs paint but most of all
the interior is in sad shape. Unfortunately, he is so busy and his son
has moved away and I don't think he will ever finish the project. I am
waiting for him to give up on the car so I can make him a deal on it.
But it looks like I see a consensus forming that $5,800 is not in the
ball park. Thanks for your help.
