Well, he's really suggesting it for the top cover (as am I), so not  
days and days, just "a day".  The reasoning is here:

The top cover is a special case because of the steel oil separator,  
you have an aluminum/steel/aluminum sandwich.  Thus, the top covers  
tend to leak, and of course it's kind of a pain to get at, so it's  
worth some extra time to get a good seal.
