I sort of like the fact that it moves around and we do not have to think
about it at all...just attend (or not) except for that third year where we
host. I think we did a pretty good job last year!
That said...the proposed location looks pretty good to me as we could
drive the whole of syline drive on the way down and back...good fun that.
Real autocross a big huge plus as well. Which tasks would we be willing
to take on from such a distance? Proximity is somewhat important when
organizing. Would likely end up a bigger event if organized this way too.

This looks like a trend for the future. Many clubs are going to this type
of format for their regional events. I agree that it is a good idea. I
like the fact of a permanent location. We can build up some good faith
with the facilities/food people and maybe get a better deal over time. We
should discuss at the next meeting.
This method would mean club involvement with the Vair Fair every year
instead of once every three years.
Also, maybe each club could "specialize" in a specific event. That would
improve the events over time.
For Daniel: Tulsa has been selected for the 65th Vair Fair (2045). Hope
you can make it!
