Mike,

I just bought one of Clark's first rate molded carpets for the yellow 
car....have to track down that last leak before I install it though. Looks 
great on my living room floor.  Quality is excellent and very similar to 
the one I got from Classic Industries for my Camaro a few years 
back....could be same supplier.

Sorry I missed the meeting at AJ's.  I hope you got a lot done.

Re: the Vair Fair, I've heard a lot of valid pros and cons for a combined 
effort.  I don't know how many VA clubs there are, or where, but could we 
compromise on this idea and have all the clubs in one part of the state 
combine efforts and host one year, and the clubs in the other part of the 
state combine efforts for the other years?  Again, this would only be 
useful if the clubs are fairly evenly dispersed (geographically speaking). 
 Also, this idea is useless if there are only 3 VA clubs in total. 

On a different note, I was about to order a new carpet set from Clarks for 
my '61 Coupe.  They're about $155 plus shipping (whatever that is).   I 
decided life is too short to put the standard rubber mat back in there. 
Any thoughts about this purchase?  (i.e. does anyone know of any reason I 
shouldn't buy from Clark's?)  I guess if I waited for an event I could get 
away without paying the shipping (if Clark attends).

Looks like you captured all or most of the comments. Agree that it is 
worth discussing with the other clubs. 

Another alternative might be to have all of the clubs work on the various 
events but have a "host" club pick and coordinate a different venue each 
year. It may or may not be in the "host" club's area. 

Also, I have procured all of the parts to add an original PCV system to my 
engine. Is anyone available this weekend, either day, morning or 
afternoon, to help me reassemble the engine?
