[NoVa-Corvairs] Just listed my Spyder on Craigslist

Morning Everyone,

Well we made the trip to Hershey this weekend with the vair for the Pa show.
Had a great time, thought I was a bit disappointed in the turn out. 

There were 20 vairs in attendance and all were nice..:) Even the Yenko !! 

The weather was a bit off.cool and windy. The hot dogs were GOOOD!!! But NO
coffee..:(

Meet some really nice folks !!! and Donna and I won the scavenger hunt
inside the museum.LOL!! Helps when you know what you're looking at or for. 

Sunday the weather was much better, but only about 6 vairs showed. So we
loaded up and headed home early to see games and the race.

Thank you to the Pa group for a nice time and great folks !! see ya next
year.

 

NOW for my vair issue. STILL having the hesitation when driving at steady
speed. Idles and runs good under load..?? Also noticed this weekend that
after driving and engine is hot, that I'm having pinging when starting off
or light acceleration. I know this is a result of over advance in timing.but
timing is set dead on.??? I'm running 93 BP in the car. I beginning to think
I have issue in the Dist somewhere?? 

I have a guy with a timing light that adjust the timing while running to
check advance etc.will be doing this tomorrow.any other ideas on this ?

 

Other than this issue.she runs and operates GREAT !!!
