[NoVa-Corvairs] The Corvairs of DC

Here's something: I know of two Corvairs that live in Capital Hill NE:
1) A month or so ago I saw a white '63 convertible in pretty good shape.  If I recall correctly the license plate read "63 VAIR".
2) Last night on my way to a show on H street I saw a marina
blue '65 Corsa 140 with no hubcaps.  Although it was dark and I couldn't get out of my car to inspect it, it also looked to be in good shape (no obvious rust or dents).
Does anyone out there own or know of these cars?
After the yesterday's meeting I found myself in Georgetown
gawking at the following old pieces of iron I found on side streets inside the right angle formed M and Wisconsin:
- ~1970 GMC Jimmy, green/white, 4WD, 4 speed, a little jacked up but not ridiculous.  It looked well-used but still had a lot of life left in it.  Really
neat.
- ~1980 Porsche 911SC, silver: two things caught my eye about this car: (1) no silly whale tail marring the purity of the lines; (2) outside of a junkyard I can't recall seeing a Porsche 911 with so much rust-through and dead paint.  A battered 911 could make a fun
[summer] commuter assuming you could make it reliable [and what's the incentive to make such a rust-bucket mechanically sound?].
It's funny how an inhospitable place like DC has more vintage iron than the 'burbs, although it probably just sems that way since if you own an old car in some
parts of DC you'll have no choice but to keep it on the street.
