Glad you got it back! Perhaps one of your running/brake light bulbs does not have ground, causing left signal not to work. Brake lights--switch at pedal? These little things will keep you busy for a few days....

Today Mark Walters drove me up to
the Corvair Ranch so I could fetch my '65 Corsa
convertible.  The car looks great -- Jeff and his
employees went the extra mile in making sure everything was
clean and polished.  Also, trim found its way onto my
car that was far nice than what came
off.The car made it back to Alexandria without
incident, although there are a few notable things:1)
The brake lights don't work2) The left turn
signal doesn't work3) The little clip that holds
the choke shaft to the right primary carb is missing.
  I went to two auto
 supply stores but couldn't find a replacement.4)
Idle is a bit erratic, though on the high side so it
doesn't stall out (sometimes it gets hung
up)Also, my exhaust is LOUD!!!  Our project in a
few weeks will be to install stock
mufflers. Here's something: on the way home the
temp needle was pegged at 400 (12 o'clock).  Even
though it was a hot day, this struck me as being on the high
side.  Keep in mind that the lower shrouds are off and
the car has finned valve covers and a finned oil pan.
The car had plenty of power and wasn't
 detonating.Pretty
 tired now.daniel
