[NoVa-Corvairs] Slightly silly question

Since I'd like to clean up the Mickey Mouse wiring in my engine compartment, is it worth it to buy repro spring-ring battery wires?  Clark's definitely charges a premium for the privilege of owning them. 
Keep in mind that my goal with the car is to retain its vintage appeal while
improving comfort and reliability.
