Bob

I told Jeff to get me everything that I need(clutch disk pressure plate flywheel pilot
bushing throwout bushing seals split ring gaskets)
Does anybody have a seal puller(if we need one) if nobody has one I will buy
one from Jeff.
I have a heavy duty floor jack and some jack stands I will buy the cleaner
Thanks for the help

I have 2 tall jack stands, engine cart (if needed) and seal puller. I will also bring my low profile floor jack (can't have too many floor jacks) battery impact wrench. I also have gasgachinch, permatex sealant and Anti Seize.

Someone should bring their tool box in the event we need something that Richard may not have.

Other things that come to mind.
Moly grease
Shop towels
PB Blaster
Cans of brake kleen
New Gear Oil. Might consider changing it unless it is fairly new.
Oil and oil filter.
Extra input shaft split ring.
Cotter pins

It might be a good idea for someone go over to Richards before the weekend to look under the car for signs of any issues that could be taken care of while the power pack is out. U joints, side axle seals heater hose condition, shifter coupling etc.
I recall Richard said that the Corvair Ranch did a lot of work on the car so we can probably assume the flywheel is bolted and the PP is ok.

Richard. Send of a list of what you have ordered from the Corvair Ranch just so we know what will be there on Saturday.

I live in Reston and could go during the week but as always two sets of eyes are better than one.

I don't believe Richard has done a Corvair clutch or pulled the engine previously. We should bring any special tools required. Let's see:

Tall jack stands (Doug may have)
ATV lift or comparable (I have)
Torque wrenches (I have)
Bellhousing alignment dowels (I have)

Need:

Floor jack is preferable - Richard?
Seal puller for the input shaft seal
Yoke puller
Flywheel bolt sealant

What else?
