Members,

Here are the actions that were captured by Mark Walters at our planning meeting.  Please review and reply if you have any questions and make sure to review the supplies list at the bottom.  I will be at the hotel by noon on Friday 13 May.  Let's make this our best Vairfair!



  1.  Coordinate with Stan to have the event T-shirts at the hotel by 3pm on Friday, 13 May (Greg/Mark)
  2.  Registration (Vernon, Richard)
  3.  Coordinate with Jeff at Corvair Ranch if it's ok to sell our spare T-shirts at his event (Mark) Done - Jeff has no issues with us selling t-shirts at the Ranch open house.
  4.  Take spare T-shirts to Corvair Ranch on Sunday, 15 May. (who ever is going to the Ranch open house.)
  5.  Coordinate with Stan and allow him to determine how many T-shirts to print (Mark)
  6.  Provide weight scale for the valve cover race (Mark)
  7.  Pick-up beer on Friday, 13 May (Doug)
  8.  Pick-up food, other items from shopping list at Costco/Wegmann's and by Pizza on Friday, 13 May (Ron, AJ, Greg and Doug)
  9.  Set up valve cover track by 5pm on Friday, 13 May (Bob)
  10. Peoples Choice set up/Assemble trophies, create ballots on Saturday, 14 May (Greg, Darrin)
  11. Request from Stan 15 red T-shirts for NVCC staff (2 M, 5 L, 5 XL) (Mark)
  12. Coordinate with vendors for setup/needs (Greg)
  13. Coordinate with Frank  to determine if he could do tech session (Doug)
  14. Driving Tour leader will be (Ron)
  15. Hospitality Room (Ron)
  16. Design/print event schedule for registration bag (Bryan)
  17. Solicit/sell 50/50 Raffle tickets during the event (Fred)
  18. Coordinate with Bob concerning status of May Hot Air Mail (Mark)
  19. DJ - Al
  20. Model Car Show - (Doug)
  21. Order cake (Karen)
  22. Pick up valve cover racetrack in VA Beach (Ron & Karen This Saturday 7 May)
  23. Valve Cover Race coordinator (AJ)
  24. Make up registration bags (Ron & Karen)
  25. Secure lot next to hotel for trailers and overflow parking (Ron) Done!

All members: please take pictures throughout the 3 day event and send them to Al Harris who will build our Vairfair photo album and post to Facebook.

Supplies:

Large coolers - everyone, if you have one bring it!!
Car wash hose (Ron)
Extension cords (Al, Ron, Lee)
Music - bring your favorite genre for Al
Pop Up for DJ (Ron)
Traffic cones (Bryan)
