My thoughts:

1. Yes, valve cover race was poorly attended. I've made comments in 
another email to the group.

2. Yes, retired people and those with vacation time show up early on 
Friday to avoid the traffic. Of course if club members have to work, 
then you can not open hospitality early. It is nice to offer cold 
beverages and light snacks as people arrive.

3. Sam Adams keg went empty early on Saturday afternoon.

4. Yes, too many muffins, because the hotel serves breakfast. You might 
have overbought on sugar drinks, but diet almost ran out! I put the last 
of the diet drinks in the cooler about 5 PM so there would be some for 
the cake session. The cookies disappeared during the day, then 
reappeared with the cake. So then there were some left over. If they had 
been out all day they would have been gone. And I would have gained 
weight!!!!

Always better to have excess snacks/drinks than to have people thirsty 
and hungry grumpy. If it was hotter, water goes very quick. I have had 
to go back to the store when running hospitality rooms at Vair Fairs 
many times. Always hold them near a Walmart...;-)

5. Yes, I missed the Best Of Show, Long Distance and Hard Luck awards.

6. Pre-ordered list of T-shirts did not make it to Stan. Lucky, he was 
able to fill my pre-order with stock on hand at home. If I just came for 
Saturday that would not have happened.

Overall a GREAT time!

Excellent dash plaques and trophy plaques.

Excellent T-shirts.

And thanks to Ron and Karen for spearheading and working to make it a 
success.
