[NoVa-Corvairs] Need some Chevy knowledge.

Starter should look a lot like Corvair starter/solenoid.


Jump a hot wire to small terminal on solenoid. By 86 the two small 
terminals seen on Corvair, became one small terminal, the R resistor 
terminal was eliminated (no resistor wire to points!).


If careful, screwdriver from big solenoid post (with wire to battery) to 
small terminal will work. But, watch out for hitting the small screws 
holding the solenoid together, they are ground and make big sparks.;-)


Have you tried starting in Neutral?
