Hey, I fiinally have finished the reassembly of everything from the head replacement. Wasn't without its challenges and noobish mistakes, all of which were correctable thankfully.

Gave up on the running adjustment of the valves as I could not hear or feel through the ratchet wrench well enough to really tell what was going on with the clicking. Brian disabused me that I needed to do so. Ended up doing a cold zero lash adjustment a couple times and then backing the final turn from full to 3/4 to 1/2. 1/2 seems the best thus far.

Today Mark H. helped to set the timing properly and use a unisen meter to set the carbs . Runs great now. Big thanks out to Mark.

David Clemens of StikerSports in Richmond, who rebuilt the heads at a very reasonable price, has been terrific to deal with and very helpful along the way. Highly recommend him.

Thanks for all the input and help. For me it was quite a marathon, but a friend use to say, "No hill for a climber."

Dan
