SCHEDULE: 

01-May FRIDAY
               Dan Palmer made an expedition to Taos to coordinate. He found
               everyone very helpful. The Police Chief said there would be a
               motorcycle escort for our downtown "cruise" - not "parade" -
               before the start of the car show back at the hotel. Dan talked
               to several businesses in town who will plan some support for us.
11-May MONDAY
               Deadline for pre-ordering Tri-State T-Shirts or Polo Shirts
28-May THURSDAY
               Some may arrive early. Free time -- tour historic Taos?
               We may need ice chests at the registration table, for Friday only.
               If anyone can bring one or two, that would be much appreciated.

               Hotel check-in time will be 2:00 - 3:00 PM.
29-May FRIDAY
               Albuquerque members may want to caravan up to Taos. If you do,
               meet at "the usual place" on I-25 just NORTH of the freeway exit
               to Bernalillo and Placitas. Be there by 8:45 or so for a 9:00 AM
               departure. It should take about two and a half hours if you go
               the most direct way, longer if you take "the high road to Taos"
               and go via Chimayo, Truchas and Ranchos de Taos.
               NOON     to  7:00 PM - Registration
               7:00 PM  to  8:30 PM - Native American Dancers in Hotel Patio
30-May SATURDAY
               6:30 AM  to  8:30 AM - Continental Breakfast. Finish Registration

               NOTE: anyone arriving after the 8:30 AM "last call"
               to register can still get banquet tickets. The hotel
               will have them at the front desk and will sell them
               for us, on Saturday only, from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM.

               NOTE: anyone arriving after the 8:30 AM "last call"
               who wants to buy T-shirts or extra Tri-State jacket
               patches will find them at the Car Show.

               8:30     to  9:00    - Prepare for Cruise and Car Show
               9:00 AM  to  NOON    - Cruise through town. Car Show at Hotel
               NOON     to  2:30 PM - Free time to go to lunch & see Taos
           TOURS: (1) EARTHSHIP HOMES -- depart from hotel at 1:45 PM
                  (2) TAOS PUEBLO     -- depart from hotel at 2:00 PM
               2:30 PM  to  4:30 PM - Tours
               4:30 PM  to  6:00 PM - Free Time
               6:00 PM  to  9:00 PM - Awards Banquet

 7:30 PM - Car Show Awards
 7:45 PM - More Door Prize Drawings
 7:50 PM - Second Raffle Drawing
 8:00 PM - "Hardship Award" & "Furthest Traveled Award"
 8:15 PM - Francis Boydston Award Presentation
 
31-May SUNDAY
               6:30 AM  to  8:30 AM - Continental Breakfast
               8:30 AM  to 11:00 AM - Free time -- tour historic Taos?
