[PPCC] In Temporary Need of an Axle with Bearing for a '63 Road Trip

Hello PPCC Crew,


I received an email from a prospective member (Brad Turner) who lives in Lamar (I've been chatting with him about acquiring a Corvair for a bit now), and he is heading out to San Diego to pick up a '63 Convertible next Tuesday (the 20th).


He's had Corvairs in the past, and, as a measure of comfort, he would like to have a spare axle in the car for the drive back, just in case (he's had an axle fail on him in the past, so he's leary).


So, the request is out for a temporary loan of an axel which will fit a '63 convertible, which is likely to do nothing more than take a ride in a suitcase out to San Diego, and a ride back in the passenger seat of the car.


Brad mentioned that he could drive out to the Springs to pick the axle up, and I suggested that, if one of the members had one available to loan out, he could pick it up at our next club meeting on the 18th.


If anyone has the goods and would like to loan it out for a week, please just reply back to me directly and I'll coordinate the delivery and transfer of said axle :)
