[PPCC] SB18-028 Motor Vehicle License Plate Mounting Requirements Passes Into Law

An update on one of the pieces of legislation that actually made it out of committee during this legislative session, and was signed into law by the Governor; Motor Vehicle License Plate Mounting Requirements - Concerning the repeal of certain requirements for where a license plate is mounted on a motor vehicle.


The language:  "Current law requires each license plate to be at the approximate center of a motor vehicle and at least 12 inches from the ground. The bill repeals this requirement for the front license plate and replaces it with a requirement that the front license plate be mounted horizontally on the front in the location designated by the manufacturer."
