John,
There was an article in the Dripline a couple of years ago, about how to do it. It was written by a member that successfully accomplished it. As I recall it was not difficult or expensive, just paperwork mostly, and waiting the required time, about 6 months total if I remember correctly. Maybe some remembers which one and can share a scan?

Subject: PPCC List - Corvair without Title
Happy New Year Pikes Peak Corvair Club - all the way from Grand Junction! There is a guy in town selling a 62 Monza for 900 without a title. The car looks pretty clean but I am concerned about the lack of title. I know that if the car was a "roller" I could do the builder's title process while I restore it an eventually get a title. However this is a running and driving car.Any one have experience getting a title for an old vair? I have done a bit of google searching but am not clear on the process. Thanks,John Kull_______________________________________________
