PPCC List - Today's salvage yard adventure

Hi everybody,

Just so you know, I'm not reposting Corvair compatible wheels from Craigslist.

I found a lot of stuff I don't need on the salvage car but maybe some of it is stuff somebody wants (to buy). I'd charge you what they charged me and if a little extra is thrown in for the effort that would be appreciated.

The car is a LM convertible so most stuff is specific to a convertible, some not.

I have all four corner body dampers. I know people have looked for these from time to time.

I have the windshield trim. There is a dent in the middle of the bottom which I think can be easily fixed.

I have the rear stainless trim with the top boot snaps. The screw snaps are missing but can be obtained from Clark's.

I have the two pieces of stainless for each side that hold the door front edge weatherstrip at the windshield frame.

The big/long stainless top bow piece that covers the top of the windshield frame is still in the car. If you want it, I can get it.

The sun visor holders are in the car but I would not use them in my car.

The top is a manual. The frame is still in the car and looks fair. I don't want it but it's there.

The rear vinyl covered metal pieces that form the sides over the windows and that forms the arm rests are in my garage. They are in rough shape and need to be cleaned and recovered. but the ash tray ring and the stainless curved trim pieces are there and in decent condition.

There is probably more but those are he highlights, and I'd like them to find a home quickly if possible.

There is another Corvair convertible sighting at the LKQ lot at 60th & Federal. I'm staying away.

Regards,

Mike
