Hello all,

For all those that attended this year’s Tri-State, thanks for the time and effort involved in coming out to Alamosa.  I think we had a wonderful weekend. To the many who traveled a long distance, it was good to see you.  I know you are not usually able to make it to our monthly meetings and events in the Colorado Springs area, so seeing you was a treat.  I hope all those that attended made it home safely.  As of now, we’ve only heard of one car having troubles. 

For those who were unable to attend, watch for pictures of this year’s event out on our FaceBook pages.  We’ll have some stories and photos in our next Drip Line also.  PPCC members’ cars took many of the awards at the show & shine, but there were many nice cars from all of the clubs that attended, representing every production year of Corvairs.  It was great to see the cars and hear the stories from all those that came out and shared.

Once again, I want to thank Ed Halpin for his tireless work organizing this year’s event.  His goal was for everyone to have fun, and from participant comments the goal was met and went far and above just a good time.  The hotel, check in party, show & shine and banquet were all great and came off without any issues.
