PPCC List - 2024 Convention? Progress Report

Progress Report:

The recent survey results show overwhelming support by those who responded for PPCC to host the 2024 CORSA National Convention. Better yet, some folks already even mentioned a willingness to chair important positions. 

On Friday (August 20th), John Green, Rick Beets and I will visit the possible host hotel, the Elegante. That hotel is already getting booked for 2024! Indeed, we unfortunately lost our intended July dates and, if PPCC approves, have the week of June 16, 2024 pencilled in. Decisions need to be made ASAP if we want this opportunity to showcase Colorado, Colorado Springs, and Corvairs!

Reminder. Why Colorado? Maybe just go to the CORSA website and (unless you already saved a copy) download the September 2011 Communique (Volume 33, Number 7) and read the glowing comments about the 2011 Denver convention. Is it any wonder that CORSA wants to come back to Colorado? Having already done such a great job, is it any wonder Colorado can do it again?

It is likely a vote will be needed at a Business Meeting (stay tuned). We can’t let this opportunity to pass by!
